Amount of fries on the side is surprisingly good. Also the quality of fries is amazing. Definitely recommend cajun chicken burger.
This is our go to place for burgers. Both beef and chicken burgers are great. The beef patties are never frozen. Excellent Alberta beef. Friday is fish and chips special, good portion and gets our fish and chips cravings satisfied. Not a huge seating area but generally you do find a place. Outside seating available in summer. My kids love their lychee bubble tea.
This was my first time eating at IYYCburger and it was very good. I like the homemade style smash burgers and picking my own toppings. The onion rings were delicious and I also tried the butter chicken poutine thanks to Dillon who gave me a free sample. Recommended
Stopped here for dinner with a friend and I'm very impressed! Tasty and delicious burgers, the fries were super crispy as well! The wait can be kind of long if it's busy, but it's worth it! The dining area is a little small, but it adds to the charm of this being a local spot.
The best Cajun Chicken burger I have had in my entire life, and it's one of the only ones you'll get in Calgary. I come from Europe, I am well traveled across other continents as well. I love food and I can tell you this place is amazing for its taste.
If you want an amazing smash burger, this is the place. The patty is seasoned and grilled to perfection, with plenty of free unlimited toppings (sauces, lettuce, tomato, onion, jalapeno, pickles) and a good selection of upsold toppings (fried mushroom, fried onion, extra cheese, fried egg, guacamole, crispy straps, samosa). I had the double burger and my nephew had a single. The burgers default to cheeseburgers and then you add your additional toppings. We both found the combinations we selected delicious, but we both feel the triple burger is the best way to enjoy to maximize the beef intake (the single is a bit too small). Chicken burger will be sampled/devoured next time. Don't sleep on the milkshakes. Definitely the best shake south of 75th avenue. They offer a decent selection of flavors, from standard fare such as chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry, with special flavors like Kit Kat, Coffee Crisp, and NY Cheesecake to name a few. Thick, but not straw plugging, with a bit of a chocolate syrup flair. So good. Add whip cream for a bit more decadence. Service was friendly, informative, and quick. We lucked out and ordered before a bit of a dinner rush so we didn't have to wait long at all. The customers that came after had to deal with a 20-minute wait, so not bad at all for a blitz of orders. The price was reasonable for a specialty burger, and with sides like onion rings (think Peter's but a bit more robust) and routine, you can't go wrong. The washroom is large (for a one person closet) and most importantly clean. A bit of a hole in the wall feel. Highly, highly recommend. May 30 2025 update: Fried chicken sandwich and tater tots have now been consumed. Fantastic. Coffee Crisp Milkshake leaves a lot to be desired. Stick to the Kit Kat. Still highly, highly recommend.
The fact that there is a halal burger at such good quality and affordable prices is just thrilling! Me and my husband got double and triple burgers and both were more than enough to make us full. So how the toppings work, everything on the left column is free to add, and items on the right labeled with their prices. I added fried onions to my sandwich and it was Divine!!! The place is cozy, decorations are minimalistic and bathrooms are pretty clean. Staff members were awesome. Thank you!
